Our 4 day SFX Make-up Artistry course is a gateway for students who want to enter the world of Prosthetic Make-up. This course is for make-up artists who are looking to learn basic make a career in cinema and theatre industry. This course will be conducted by the best international trainers who have an experience of working in bollywood film industry.
WHAT WILL I LEARN?
You will learn all kind of Special Effects (SFX) make-up techniques including making injuries, wounds, bruises, burns, materials & product knowledge. Post-graduation, you will be ready to work in movies, web series, ads, short films & theatre as an SFX make-up artist.
SFX MAKE-UP ARTISTRY
- Character Makeup – learn how to make-up for creating characters as per the screenplay
- Ageing make-up – Realistic ageing make-up using basic chemicals
- Bruises – Types of bruises using latex
- Cuts & Wounds – Injuries using latex & blood
- Scars – mild as well as deep scars using latex
- Burn – 1st degree & 2nd degree burns including acid attack
- Scabs – mild as well as deep scabs
- Scratches – animal as well as human scratches
- Scrapes – all types of scrapes
- Bullet marks over different sizes and body parts
- Working with wax / Latex / Fake Blood to create other SFX make-up as per the screenplay

Days & Timings:
Make-up: 9:30 AM – 3:00 PM | Monday – Friday
- No previous experience required.
- The minimum age for entry to this course is 15 years
- There is no upper age limit.
- Dress code-Casuals
- Students just have to bring their own make-up brush kit to start with the class as the list will be given at the time of enrollment,
- Students can buy the make-up brush kit from the academy or from any market vendor. However, the equipment should be of professional grade as per the specification given by the School.
- Students will have to carry basic hygiene consumables like Wet wipes, sanitizers, face masks, water bottle, etc.
- Make-up Brush Kit – Eye Makeup Brushes, Powder Brush, Lip Brush, etc. (typically full set comes in set of 25 brushes)
